A busy day for

Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust

on their first day of being based on the Coromandel for summer yesterday.

No sooner had they arrived yesterday, the

Westpac Rescue, Auckland

Helicopter was called to a job in Whitianga. At 9:05am crew were tasked to assist a male patient in his 60’s suffering a medical complaint. He was flown to Waikato Hospital in a serious condition.

Early afternoon they were back in the sky heading to Hahei where crew were tasked to Hahei to assist a male patient in his 40’s suffering a medical complaint. He was flown to Auckland City Hospital in a critical condition.

At 3:57pm Westpac 3 crew tasked to Thames to assist a girl involved in a motor vehicle accident that closed SH25 in Thames for nearly 4 hours. The female patient was flown to Starship Hospital in a serious condition.
